This was a cold windy day. It started off well as we managed to find a sheltered spot by the side of the river in amongst the dunes, but by lunch time the wind had changed direction and it felt quite bitter.
After lunch we ventured further along towards the lighthouse and found another sheltered spot down on the beach. Unfortunately we had to stop painting because it started to rain, which then turned to hail stones.
We were thwarted by the weather today and only a couple of sketches were completed today. We will return again in May to continue, hopefully with better weather.
