It was another hot and fairly sunny day for our visit to Mousehole, which is full of hidden corners that can only be found by wandering around the village. It is a really picturesque place, whilst the harbour still has a small fleet of fishing boats. One of the group was invited to use one of the gardens near the harbour with a view over to St Michael's Mount. It was also home to a rabbit who was able to roam from an outbuilding and across the road to the garden. He had his own entrance to the outbuilding, rabbit shaped of course. With the alleyways full of hanging baskets, pots of flowers, and the small gardens full of flowers, it was an explosion of colour and light and shade. Rain was forecast for today, but fortunately it held off until 3.50pm, and even then it barely wet the ground until we had finished packing up. |
