Potager Garden Gallery

With all the rain and bad weather we have been having lately, it was a bit worrying if we would be able to paint outside today. The Potager Garden has large greenhouses and we might have had to paint there. Fortunately is was a lovely day of sunshine, and the surrounding trees protected us from any wind.
The garden is organic, with many types of plants ranging from Mediterranean to the English Cottage Garden. There was plenty to paint, and with the garden gradually being rediscovered and reclaimed there will be more in the future.
Although the garden was closed the day we went, which meant we had the whole place to ourselves, some of us bought plants, jam and chutney to take home.
