We had an enjoyable day here, our hosts made sure we had all we needed, and the garden was looking gorgeous. The group ranged from beginners to experenced painters but we were all able to produce at least one good picture.

The weather held and the sun came out in the afternoon, so we could be outside all day. I discoved that what I had thought was a celtic cross is in fact a latin cross, but in the field next to the garden there is a celtic cross which I had not discovered on my previous visit.

It was such a relaxing time that one or two took time out for a rest, including one of the dogs! We will be back on Saturday 10th June 2006, so I am hoping that the bluebells will still be flowering, and that our second visit will be just as good.
