We had to dodge the rain today, it was worse in the morning than the afternoon. The oil painter amongst us had to give up as it was becoming more like a watercolour painting! Two others were able to find shelter and in between the showers started on their pictures.

The afternoon was better with sunny spells. Towards the end of the afternoon everybody came back to the Rock Institute having finished their paintings and taken photographs of the area.

For the final hour we used watercolour pencils and experimented with their use.
