After a few days when the Sun had made an appearance there was some hope that it might do so today as well. That wasn't to be. Even so it was still possible to go out into the garden to paint. The trees surrounding Trebah Garden sheltered us from the worst of the wind, and even though there was a hint of rain a couple of times it did not come to anything. Spring had certainly come to the gardens, flowers were out all around us, and the view down the valley towards the Helford River looked over the magnificent camellias and magnolias in full flower. Lower down the garden the ponds were taken as a subject by some of the artists. |
