Whether you paint already or want to try,

Sarah will able to attend Paint Away Days as before, and her husband, Bob will only be involved in the administration and organisation of the locations and the venues. As before tea and coffee will be available throughout the day, but participants will need to bring a packed lunch or to buy lunch while we are out. Details will be put in the information if there is a cafe at the venue. If the weather is forecast to be poor there will be a laptop and printer available. Photographs taken on the day can then be printed out for your use.

Following the survey of participants there was a comment from a number of beginner artists, who said that they would have liked a bit more help to begin with. Sarah will be available for the morning of a Paint Away Day for beginners who would like help with suggestions, individual and group demonstrations. As Paint Away Days is changing and evolving it is necessary to make changes to the Terms & Conditions, and to the website itself. Sarah is going to streamline the website, so that the time to load will be reduced for those who access the internet on a dial up connection.
You will notice a number of changes on the website and to Paint Away Days. During the updating of the website some changes will be seen before others, hopefully the links will all continue to work, but I apologise now if you find any that don't. |
Some of the changes to Paint Away Days are -
- The usual cost of a Paint Away Day will be reduced to £13 as lunch will no longer be provided.
- The website information about the different locations will state whether places are still available or not. If places are restricted that information will be displayed. It will not be necessary to contact me before sending your deposit to book a place.
The deposit required is now only £5, please note that this is non-returnable. (For exceptions see )
- A booking form will be available on the website, which can be printed and sent with the deposit. I will continue to send booking forms to those who get their information by post.

Some of the changes to the website are -
- The ability to enlarge images will be restricted to the gallery pages.
- Some pages will disappear as they will be amalgamated with other pages.
- The newsletter will be issued through the website and not by email. I was aware that the download time might have been longer than desirable on the last newsletter. This will also mean that previous newsletters will be accessible as well. Email will still be used to let you know that there is a new newsletter available.
Any other important changes will be announced in the newsletter section of the website. |
