The Gallery for our visit to Blisland in April is now available. |

You will notice some changes to the website, mainly in the Gallery section. The main difference, apart from the look of the site, is that the artwork are the only images that can be enlarged. This is to make the website quicker to load, and hopefully easier to use. Please let Sarah know if you find a problem (paintawaydays@yahoo.co.uk), although it has all been checked it is easy to miss a problem on such a large site. |

Places are still available for the Paint Away Day based at Carn Brea. With such a variety of different locations close by this should be a location to suit most people. If you are interested in painting architecture there are the engine houses, both those that are part of the National Trust, and the ruins dotted around the landscape. The rugged moorland look of Carn Brea with Carn Brea Folly (Restaurant) and the Bassett Monument. The bluebells are now out in most places, so Tehidy Woods should be a wonderful site to visit. Finally, Bassetts Cove on the north coast for those who like seascapes. |

In June we will visit St Mawgan, a hidden away village in a sheltered valley. There is plenty of choice of subject, from the church, the lychgate, the river, as well as the different buildings in the village. Also at St Mawgan is the Japanese Garden and Bonsai Nursery, and entry is included in the price for the day. |

The next session of Painting at the Well, Cubert, will be held on Wednesday 9th May. All are welcome, no need to book. With the good weather you might like to paint outside, for example in the Churchyard, please bring your own chair.
